Water Women Wisdom; Voices from the Upper Mississippi

Written and Illustrated by Nancy Scheibe

WWW: Voices from the Upper Mississippi Book

Experience the adventure of paddling 575 miles down the upper Mississippi and hear the stories of the women who live along her shore. Nancy traveled from the Mississippi Headwaters in northern Minnesota to Red Wing, Minnesota in 2004 and held gatherings of elder women around a Sacred Peace Fire where they shared their wisdom.

"This book simultaneously narrates an inspirational adventure and invites readers to participate actively and vicariously in the physical and spiritual journey. In sharing the downstream sojourn, the women explore diverse ways to travel soulfully."
