As an author,Nancy Scheibe's book Water Women Wisdom; Voices From The Upper Mississippi celebrates women by sharing their wisdom. During and expedition paddling the Mississippi she held gatherings of women over 50 and collected their stories. This book is a narative or her sojourn and the women's inspiring stories. Nancy's book Women's Experience Coloring Book has been received as a valuable personal development tool by women and organizations serving women. Her book about a back packing adventure on the shores of Lake Superior is at the publisher. As an explorer, Nancy Scheibe shares her sense of adventure in the Water * Women * Wisdom project. Paddling the Mississippi River Nancy's purposes are to soulfully journal the joys and challenges faced paddling the great river with an all-woman team of paddlers and to celbrate women by gathering the elder women, collecting and sharing their wisdom. The first leg of the expedition (574 miles) was in 2004 and went from Itasca State Park, to Red Wing, Minnesota. The second leg (620 miles) is in September 2007 and will travel from Red Wing to St. Louis, Missouri. She is looking forward to many women joining her paddling and at the gatherinings and listening to the inspiring discussions. As a public speaker, Nancy Scheibe motivates her audience to do more than they thought they could. Nancy's interactive workshops assist participants in incorporating information gathered into their daily life. Personal Statement "I believe self expression is essential for a full life.
